Look and Feel Better With Fruits, Veggies, and Exercise

A few years ago, I lost my job. It was a shock as I've never been laid off from a job before. It was my first time. After the initial shock wore off, I felt really down. I was close to being depressed. One thing that that did to me was it got me eating a lot of junk food and I also stopped exercising. See, I've exercised my whole life and always paid attention to what I ate, especially fruits and veggies. I made healthy choices and it all changed when I lost my job. I stopped exercising and ate bad.

Within just a couple of weeks of this, I noticed that I looked different. I looked worse. I looked older than I did just a few weeks prior. I was a different person on the outside and didn't feel so good on the inside. I personally saw what diet and nutrition did to me and it was at that moment that I really understood what eating properly and exercise does to my physical appearance. I could not let me lose myself like that again.

At that point in my life, I decided that no matter what happens to me, I will never let it get in the way of my nutrition and exercise habits. Since that day, I have been eating better than ever. I eat a minimum of seven different fruits and veggies a day and exercise four times per week. I don't eat any junk and never drink soda. I look and feel better than ever and I know it's because of my health and exercise habits. I now know that it's true what they say - You are what you eat!
